Mozilla has some helpful instructions on getting everything up and running. Currently, Nightly uses the Collections feature on AMO to install extensions, so you’ll also need to create a collection on AMO. If you're interested in testing out general extension support, you’ll need to enable the setting in Nightly.
With that in mind, Mozilla said it will remove any negative reviews about extension performance in Nightly. “Since most developers haven’t been able to test and optimize their extensions for the new Android experience, please be kind if something doesn’t work the way it should,” Mozilla pleaded. However, the company warns that installing untested extensions on the Nightly build of Firefox for Android can potentially lead to “unexpected outcomes,” so you should beware before proceeding. Mozilla said it’s enabling the feature so developers and advanced users can test out extension compatibility.
